That’s right ― I said it: Starbucks sucks. I don’t understand what it is that makes everybody just love Starbucks here, but I don’t see it.
While in Tokyo, I had to go to Starbucks. I paid about $3 for a small cup of orange juice and ice. There was no Vodka in the juice; nor crack, carbination, sugar, or even straw.
Unless you enjoy your pants around your ankles, I do not recommend Starbucks in any country.

In Australia I'd shudder and complain about Starbucks, but now I like it only because the only other choice is coffee in a can, or mochas that taste burnt. Please don't ruin my happiness or tell me where I like my pants
But you're right, Starbucks sucks, yet, compared to YP it's all we have.
Couldn't agree with you more. Luckily the Netherlands has as of yet not been plagued with Starbuckses on every corner, but as I find here in England (finally moved by the way… I am now officially an immigrant) they are by far the worst and the most expensive coffee houses around.
