Chemist Georg Steinhauser spent three years researching into the mysteries of his belly button and the endless supply of lint which collects there. After examining 503 pieces of disgusting fluff from his own belly button, he has discovered the type of body hair which traps stray pieces of lint and draws them there. Chemical analysis revealed that the pieces of fluff weren’t gross enough just being made up of cotton from clothing, flecks of dead skin, fat, sweat and dust were also wrapped up in there.
If the idea hadn’t already been taken and the research done, I would’ve used this for my PhD. Still, I wonder what he did with all that lint? Could’ve at least knitted a sweater.
