Wednesday we took our last exam of the first unit of this semester. It was… hard.

Thursday we started the second unit of this semester. It’s completely different from last and much more exciting I think. Instead of getting pages and pages of homework where we fill in blanks based on grammar points every night, we’ve started getting homework where we read a page or two of something and then answer questions based on our interpretation of the reading. Easy stuff but it uses everything we’ve learned thus far.

To make sure there’ll be no problems this unit as far as homework and tests are concerned, 一生懸命頑張る (I’m going to do my absolute best). But for now, I’m going home to relax a little and then the super to buy ingredients for tonight’s pizza party.
